In 1965 Rev. Fr. Gregory Monis at the request of UPSEB authorities at Obra was sent there to erect a school building for a Church and a priest –house was added in the year1966. A new church was built and blessed on December 19, 1995 by Rt. Rev. Isidore Fernandes.
