It was entrusted to the care of O.C.D. Fathers of Karnataka-Goa Province. Fr. Henry Moras ocd and a regent arrived on 16 June 1998. This Mission was officially started on 16 July 1998. Fr. Henry resided in a rented house, which was also used for the celebration of Mass and the other sacraments. Evangelization work was initiated in the nearby villages of Hadagali town. Now there is a beautiful church and a priests'residence. There is also a technical school. Fr. Henry Moras ocd who was a pioneer of this mission is the present Superior of the Carmelite community.
