Accordingly the MSFS priests came to the diocese in 1992. Koppal was made a parish and started residing there. In 1997 the congregation bought a piece of land in Kukknoor and made a sub centre of Koppal Parish. In 2002 the SFS School was started to cater to the needs of the people of Kukknoor. This Mission has been declared an independent Parish on 1st November, 2015.
