Holy Family Shrine
Church History
This Parish was bifurcated from Peravallur Parish and was erected as a new parish on 16th May 2007.
The First Parish Priest was Rev. Fr. Y. F. Bosco.
This prime land on the main GNT Road was generously given to the Archdiocese by the St Anne's Congregation, Chennai, thanks to Rev Sr Leema Rosario, the Mother General and her Councillors.
This is the first parish, erected in the name of The Holy Family, in the Madras Mylapore Archdiocese.
Devotion to The Holy Family is celebrated on Wednesdays.
This Church attracts thousands of people on first Wednesdays.
