St. Antony's Church
Church History
This is one of the Oldest Churches in the Diocese of Trincomalee.
Muthur is a traditional village with a Christian presence for over 3 centuries.
St. Joseph Vaz has visited this place, where Christians were present even before the 17th Century.
The Tomb of Rev. Fr. Michael De Mello, the companion of St. Joseph Vas is also here.
