Church History
Vickramasingapuram is one of the substations of Iruthayakulam parish. Order of Friars Minor capuchin came to stay here in the year 1987.
It was one of the industrial areas. So many people who came for seeking a job are settled here.
As the Catholic population grew in big number, it was felt that it should be erected a new parish.
Since capuchin were there, the parish was entrusted to their care. It was elevated as a parish on 26th June 1994.
The new church was built up and consecrated on 30th June 2002.
They are doing marvellous work. Besides spiritual ministry, they also concentrate on the social, economical and educational field.
