St. Alphonsa Church

Through the efforts of KCA the faithful in and around Bandra East were organized and got to offer Holy Qurbana in Malayalam at St Joseph, the Worker Church, Bandra East. After the erection of the Diocese of Kalyan, this Qurbana centre was promoted as a quasi-parish and named as St. Alphonsa Chruch. Today the church has 32 families and about the same number of bachelors. Associations like Pithruvedi, Mathrusangam, Youth, Choir and Catechism are functioning effectively in our Church. The priests who served us are Fr. George Vadakkethala, Fr. Vakkachan, Fr. John Kizhakkirakkattu, Fr. Paul Madan, Fr. Jose Vallavankkat, Fr. Benny Ezhormattom, Fr. Jacob Thachil, Fr. Joy Kaithavattu, Fr. Davis Challissery, Fr. Bobby Mullakkanpilly, Fr. Abraham Kollithadam, Fr. Praveen Joseph and Fr. Benny Ezhormattom, Fr. Thomas Kannampally and Fr. George Vattamattom.
