Sacred Heart Church
Church History
The Church was built in 1911 and is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Sacred Heart of Mother Mary. The Church celebrated its centenary celebrations in 2011 and has been one of the important pilgrim centers in the Diocese of Thanjavur. The Church serves as the main Church of the Pudukkottai Vicariate and is headed by a Vicar Forane (Parish Priest) and an assistant Parish Priest.
