Church History
Fr. Ignacimuthu CMF staying in Kalna from 1998, looked for a suitable place to start a center in Memari area. Finally, he identified Sealmara near Sahanagar, a Catholic village, to start his apostolate in 1999. Later Fr. Michael Pandian joined him; living in a small hut they explored the possibilities for the Claretians. They identified land in Sahanagar and bought it. Their efforts bore fruit as Marsal Sadan, Sahanagar and was blessed in 2002. An English Medium School was started in 2005 with hostel facilities.
