St. Barbara’s Church

Barbarammalpuram was one of the important substations of the Somanathaperi mission. Already in 1951 a Church was built here and was dedicated to St. Barbara. It was elevated into a parish in 2004 by Bishop Peter Fdo. Rev. Fr. Remigius was appointed as the first parish priest of Barbarammalpuram, Who renovated the parish Church and put up a presbytery.
