St. Xaiver’s Church

C. Saveriarpuram was originally a substation of Sathankulam. Then it came to Somanathaperi. When Chinthamani became a separate parish in 1950 Saveriarpuram was one of the important substations of Chinthamani Mission. C. Saveriarpuram was elevated into a parish on 21st November 1999 by Bishop S.T. Amalnather and Rev. Fr. Edward was the first parish priest, who built the presbytery and it was blessed by Bishop Peter Fernando in December 2001. Grottos in the parish: 1. Our Lady of Lourdes - C. Saveriarpuram 2.
