Infant Jesus Church
Church History
The parish of Kurukkusalai was bifurcated from Keezhamudiman parish on 16th July 1999 by Bishop Peter Fernando.
The Mission was entrusted to Carmelites and the first parish priest was Rev. Fr. Maria David O.C.D.
Infant Jesus is the patron of the parish.
A new Church was built and it was inaugurated on 24th April 2004.
Bishop Jude Paulraj, Bishop of Palayamkottai blessed the Church.
Priests’ residence was built by Rev. Fr. Maria David and was blessed by OCD Provincial Rev. Fr. Perianayagam on 14th December 2001.
