St. Antony’s Church

Vilathikulam was bifurcated from Nagalapuram and became a separate parish on 31st May 1981. Rev. Fr. Antonypitchai was the first parish priest. When it was made a parish a few substations from Nagalapuram as well as from Keezhamudiman were attached to it. There were 13 substations. And Churches were built in all the villages. In 1994 on the 24th of September Vilathikulam mission was entrusted to the care of Salesions of Don Bosco. The new residence of salesians was blessed and opened on 29th April 2007.
