Fr. Anthony Fernandes is its first Parish Priest. There were about 25 Christian families there as early as 1946. Fr. Bonaventure Davis, OFM, Parish Priest of Mudgal, regularly attended tothe spiritual needs of the people of Chikka Hesaruru. Fr. Owen McLaughlin, OFM, bought one acre of land and constructed a chapel in 1965. The Diocese bought about 9 acres of additional in 2010 and the foundation stone was laid for the construction of the presbytery and the school on 15 Aug. 2015. The presytery and a pre-school building were blessed by Bishop Henry D'Souza on 6 Dec.2016. The Pre-Primary School was started in June, 2016. Priests and Religious from the parish : Fr. Yagappa, Fr. Mariswamy, Fr. Devaputra, Sr. Amala and Sr. Sujatha. Sub-stations: • Haruvapur (11 Families) • Pamana Kallur (12 Families) • Tuppadur (10 Families)
