St. Xavier’s Church
Church History
Elanganathapuram was one of the important substations of the Sathankulam mission. It was elevated into a separate parish on 31.05.2002 by Bishop Peter Fernando. Rev. Fr. Arulmani was the first parish priest of Elanganathapuram. The present Parish Church was put up in 1932 when it was with Sathankulam Mission.
