ST. JOHN'S CHURCH
Church History
Fr Ignatius OFM Cap used to visit this area and a piece of land was bought in the year 1978. Fr Andrew Bhuriya was the first resident priest of Jhadol followed by late Fr Benedict Dodiyar. In 1993 the Society of the Divine Word (SVD) Fathers were invited to work in Jhadol and to this day they are taking care of the mission. The Prabhudasi Sisters of Ajmer started a convent in Jhadol in 1994. Today the mission has a flourishing school, a hostel and a dispensary.
