Balaswamy Associations : Altar Servers, Youth Association Mass timings : 8:00 am on Sundays, 6:00 pm on Week days A brief history of the parish In order to train the rural unemployed youth and the schooldrop-outs, bought a fairly large area of land in the year 1966 with the approval of the State of Mysore to give training in agriculture. Bishop Ambrose P. Yeddanapalli ofmstruggled hard to establish the centre and named it after the donor Cardinal Cushing Farm Training Centre (CCFT). Fr.Gerald D'Souzaofm, resided in the Farm since1972and started the training. From then onwards, the priests residing in the Farm have been taking care of the spiritual needs of Catholic workers of the Farm residing there and also those living in the neighbourhood. The need was felt to constitute it into a parish. Hence, Bishop Ambrose P. Yeddenahalli ofm, established it as an independent parish in 1990, and appointed Fr. Charles D'Souza as the parish priest. Every year a group of youth were given training in the modern methods of agriculture. The Diocese renovated the Centre during the time of Fr. Charles Sunder Raj and Bishop Henry D'Souza inaugurated the short-term courses in computer skills, bedside nursing, tailoring and electrical wiring etc. These were supported by FVTRS, DB-TECH and BDDS. The renovated parish church was inaugurated and blessed by Bishop Henry D'Souzaon 2 August 2014,when Fr. Charles Sundar Raj was the parish priest.
