Divine Mercy Parish was established on 30November 2014, dividing it from Infant Jesus Parish, Gangavathi with Fr.P.Anthony Raj as first parish priest. He resided in a rented house. Divine Mercy Guru Nivas was built at the initiative of Fr.Antony Raj P. and blessed by Bishop Henry D'Souza on 6 Nov. 2016.
