A Brief History
In Mirzapur there was a small Railway colony. Rev. Fr. Pascal Sinha who was the first resident chaplain built three rooms, one of them was used for Sunday Services. Later a Catechist stayed there and the Chaplain of Chunar looked after the place. The new Church was build and more land was purchased by the Priest in charges Rev. Fr. Sebastian D’Cruz and Rev. Fr. Jerome D’Souza. In 1989 a school was built; the UFS Sisters assist in the educational, pastoral and Social work of the place
