St. Antony the Hermit's Church
Church History
St. Antony the Hermit's Church was built in 1999 by the Ooty Diocese.
Parishioners belong to Urali tribe which is one of the 36 Scheduled Tribal groups in Tamil Nadu.
In 2011 the Ooty Diocese entrusted the Parish to Jesuits of Madurai Province.
Fr. Arockiasamy was the First Jesuit Parish Priest.
