ST MATHEW'S CHURCH
Church History
Bishop Joseph Pathalil, when he was the parish priest of Dungarpur started this mission as an outstation of Dungarpur. In 1987 late Fr John Sunni started living there as the first resident priest. In the initial stages it was manned by the SVD fathers and later it was handed over to the diocesan clergy in the year 2006. The Carmelite Sisters of Charity of Vedruna joined the mission in 1991. Today the mission has a school and a hostel.
