Our Lady of Lourdes Church / லூர்து அன்னை ஆலயம்

The Catholic population was growing in the north-western region of Hosur; in 2000, the SIPCOT Parish was created as a separate entity from Sacred Heart Church, Hosur Parish. Rev. Fr. Arulraj was the first parish priest. In 2001, Rev. Fr. Matthias became the second parish priest, purchased new land for the parish and constructed a church in the name of Lourdes. In 2007, Rev. Fr. Lourde Samy was appointed the third parish priest. The then Bishop of Dharmapuri, Joseph Anthony Irudayaraj, initiated the construction of the new church, in the architectural style of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes church in France. With the hard work of Rev. Fr. Lourde Samy, the construction of the Our Lady Of Lourdes Church was completed. In 2015, the Bishop Lawrence Pius Dorairaj of Dharmapuri blessed and opened the church.
